I am not getting a battery charge for as many hours as mentioned in the cell phone book manual. Please suggest if I can change/replace with new one.

The Samsung SPH-A900 cell phone is amazing! I just replaced a Samsung A740, it was a very nice phone I thought and it had a good picture until I picked up this one and looked at the screen! I was Blown away by the quality of the pictures taken, and also the fact I can record a video and set it as my ringtone! Although it is a little longer then the razor the over all look and features beat the Razor by far. I'm a high school student and I must admit many of my friends love this phone!Overall I love this phone!

While I love the Samsung SPH-A900 and the ease of its use-- I check my Yahoo email several times a day-- as others have stated, the battery life does not support the phone. After a year of service, I must charge my phone once a day to ensure that i can talk at least an hour a day. Also, while the camera does take great photos, my phone will either freeze entirely and you must remove the battery to restart the phone, or it will shut down when initially activating the camera. Once you restart the phone, it is usually a 75% chance that the camera will activate without freezing or shutting down the phone a second time. When this contract ends, I am purchasing a new phone.

The A900 looks great, but looks can be deceiving, this phone irratated me so much that I wanted to break it, it froze on me all the time, it would show another i.d. Picture when someone called other than the person assigned to that number, one morning I woke up, and I checked to see if I had any missed calls, and my screen was all frizzy and static, and ya sure you can put music on there but only about 7 to 9 songs. The speaker phone shouldnt even be called a speaker phone, it's very low, and to top it all off the battery life was the worst thing ever, but the batter I knew about before I bought the phone, but I didnt expect it to be this bad. Too bad I was so excited to get this phone when it just came out, $350.00 gone to waste. The only plus about the phone is the service, thanks Sprint. Im really not the complaining type, but jeez c'mon samsung!!!

I've had the A900M for about 5 weeks, so I'm past the 30-day return policy from Sprint. I knew about the battery and that's okay. The phone is a little wide for my hands. I find that it's freezing on me sometimes, but the most frustrating thing about it is that I get different picture IDs on the screen than the ones I actually assigned. So my daughter calls me and I get a picture of my coworker. It's irritating, but I guess I'm stuck with it. Sprint told me it's a "known issue." No one from Sprint informed me of this before I purchased the phone. What I do know is that 23 months from now I'm getting a different phone. :-(

The Samsung sph-a900 is an excellent phone. Only problem is it may lock up on you, when your doing alot all in the same time period. For example if I sync it with my PC, then jump on the internet, then after make a call, then after try to hear a song, it'll lock up. I'm not doing it all at once but maybe in a 10 minute period.another than that it is an excellent phone with no dropped calls.

I've had the Samsung SPH-A900 for almost a year. The phone is nice and thin, but it hurts the battery life. I bought an extended life which helped, but isnt great. The reception of the phone isnt bad but no external antenna hurts its performance. My Main gripe is the A-900's software freezing glitch. My phone freezes fairly consistently. The A-900m was released later with the glitches fixed.

My sprint phone did not work too well in Alaska. I could make and receive phone calls but I could not use any of the other features. My suggestion is to place towers in Alaska (at least near the two main military post).

I love my Samsung SPH-A900 cell phone. The only things I notice about it is that the battery does not hold a charge for long. By the end of the day the battery will be dead. I have had other cell phones and they could hold a charge for days. Also I notice that my phone roams alot. Other than those issues I love the phone.

At least I know now that there is nothing wrong with MY battery. I thought it was a bad battery. Other than that I think this cell phone is awesome. I had a choice between this and the Razr, after comparing them side-by-side I am glad I chose the Samsung SPH-A900.
