I love this phone! I have not been able to play music yet. I copied files onto the micro card and the phone recognizes them and begins playing them but then the song is cut off, so still need to figure that part out! Easy to insert address book, voice recognition works great. One downside would be that buttons on side activate too easily if you accidentally touch them when picking up the phone. I had read reports that the speaker phone wasn't good, but mine works great! It is also very easy to connect bluetooth devices to. You can actually adjust the touch pad on the keys. I have not had any problem with the flat keys. I did have a problem with being able to access the Alltel site to set up My Circle. I was told by the Alltel rep that I couldn't set up my online account until I received a bill from Alltel, that they could not give me my account number over the phone. After several days of not being able to set up account, I called again and the rep was very sympathetic and gave me the information needed to set up account. I have been very pleased with Alltel's service and with the My Circle I can talk all I want without going over minutes!

A great looking phone. Its slim design fits well into cell phone holders. But looks aren't everything. Fortunately, the LG AX8600 has some excellent features besides its good looks. Its menus provide easy-to-use access to phone options. Like many of the upper end cell phones (basically the newer ones), the AX8600 has video and picture-taking capability. The quick keys programmed in make it easy to call people back, as well as access the address book and camera. It includes a micro SD slot. This only supports certain types of music files, which made it slightly hard to transfer files from iTunes, but its fun to have an MP3 player that's with you all the time. The sound quality without headphones is not as great as you might want, but sufficient for enjoying your favorite music. I've used this phone more than my previous LG model, so that may account for one of the smaller drawbacks--battery life could be a little longer. But I wouldn't want to trade in my AX8600, even for a RAZR. I'm quite pleased with this choice.

The first thing I thought about the LG AX8600 when I bought it was the sleek design and the brilliant front and main screen displays. Cosmetically, I love this cell phone. It fits in your pocket without any problem and looks very nice. But, if only the durability was as good as the look. I have not had much of a problem with it until seven or eight months into owning it when I had to position the charger in the port just right to get it to charge. Now, about a year and a week after first buying it, the AX8600 will not charge at all. I have also had to replace the actual charger once this year because it broke. I thought I was very careful with it. I have never been abusive to any of my belongings, but apparently I was not careful enough with this cell phone to keep it in good condition. Along with the problems charging it, the AX8600 will randomly drop calls and reception is not that great in some of the rural towns in Iowa where I live. So, I do not know if that is the phone's fault, or my provider's fault.

Its not a durable phone, slipped once from my pocket and that's it. Also the reception is not so good as with any other Motorola phones. Cosmetically its not bad looking, if you want to go with the looks only. Battery life is definitely less than what is been advertised. It only lasts 36 hrs during which time, I might use it for 5-6 regular calls

I had a Moto RAZR before i got the LG AX8600. The one thing i liked right off the bat was how well the LG stayed charged (as long as you have reception..if i go where there is no service it really drains the battery). With my RAZR i always had to have it plugged it. I enjoy all the features with the axcess applications like Axcess search where i can look up anything from local pizza places to the humane society and then have options like to call them or to set up directions. I liked having a Micro SD slot on my phone. Its easy to transfer photos, music, and movies from my laptop to my phone. Using some free software i can make my own ringtones but cutting songs to where i want them and then saving them to the SD card and then putting them in a MP3 format. The phone also takes WONDERFUL pictures. Now the bad..... Sometimes i don't always get text's from people. And when i send texts everyone says that they get duplicates.... I text a lot and its kinda hard to feel where the keys are... The whole key area is completely flat. I would like some kind of definition. The paint started chipping away from where my nail must have caught it when i open the phone. And now as of 3 days ago. The camera isn't working, the inner and outer display get super bright....then dim....then bright...Then freezes. I haven't dropped it or any water damage. I called Alltel and they are sending me a new phone. Overall i liked the phone but good thing i got it still under warranty.

This phone has been nothing but trouble. I have the green and my son has or should I say had the blue. I am now on my third phone....problems ranged from chipping paint to the phone just breaking apart. My son has gone through 5 phones. We finally got rid of the phone and purchased a Razor. His problems have ranged from the camera not working to loosing the front screen to the picture and words on the screens being flipped backwards. We have both had trouble with not being able to send texts and receiving is often a problem. Also, phone will just drop service for no apparent reason. Will never recommend the LG AX8600 to anyone. Trouble is all you will receive if you purchase this phone.

Phone is fantastic! I like it way better than my old Razr. It is easier to use and the keys on the side actually lock. I used to accidentally turn off the ringer on my Motorola all the time. The battery lasts longer too.

So I got an this LG a little over a month ago and iv had so many problems with it! I have to admit I love the looks but the phone turns off for no reason and when u get a call or text the main and front screen turn white..then I close it and the light flashes and the front screen shows everything backwards...and u open it and its perfectly fine. It let me take pics for a while then it started getting lines through the pics and now it just says "please wait" forever. Then when you turn it on and off it doesn't show the right screen its just random lines...and the vibrate has gotten weak. My battery has been fine but everything else is falling apart! Plus I don't like how smooth the keys are..its hard to text, but thats about it. I do still like the phone but my friend licked there finger and rubbed the dot on the battery so I probably will have to pay for a new phone.

The phone shuts off for no reason and goes in and out of service all the time. It freezes up and the only why to fix it is to take the battery out and put it back in.
